Always - Adjustments are made whenever a frame rate change is detected by Kodi (not recommended). No adjustments are made and output is at a fixed display refresh rate, usually the rate set in the GPU This is the TV adjusting itself and not Kodi. Using this setting may cause the TV or monitor to blank for a few seconds while adjustments are made. This potentially allows for perfectly smooth video reproduction, as video material can be recorded in a variety of frame rates (23.976fps, 24fps, 25fps, 29.97fps, 30 fps, etc.) which need to be properly matched by the refresh rate of the display, in order to be displayed smoothly. It will automatically set the refresh rate which is best matched with the video that is playing. This setting will switch the output refresh rate to the best refresh rate that is supported by the display AND by the hardware Kodi is running on (as reported by EDID) when playing a video file. The range is none (which will cause the skip step to happen immediately) & 250 - 3000ms (milliseconds).Ģ.1 Adjust display refresh rate Settings level: I'm in way over my head with trying to get this all to work, but I would really appreciate some help.Defines how much time it takes before the skip step occurs.

If anyone can please help me out or if anyone needs any more information in order to better assist then please let me know.

Do I have to manually create STRM files of the SBS On Demand, ABC iView, 7Plus, 9Now, 10Play, Kayo Sports and Samsung TV Plus Kodi add-ons in order for Emby to actually detect them and then scan them? I have heard that the Kodi add-on files that you add to Emby have to be stored as STRM files, but I can not find any STRM from within the Kodi files on my C:/ drive. When I've gone to the Library section of the Emby server to share the pathway by adding folders I just added whatever Kodi files from my C:/ drive I could find but this has NOT WORKED. So it appears that the Emby server is actually working. I have downloaded and installed the Emby for Kodi add-ons (Emby Con & Emby-Next-Gen) and I have signed in to the Emby for Kodi add-ons on ALL my devices.

When I'm using Kodi on my Windows PC and using Kodi on my Smartphone and Tablet I can see them marked as 'active devices' directly from the Emby dashboard itself via my Windows PC. I'm having enormous difficulty trying to do the above with my legal Kodi video streaming add-ons.

Like say for example you are watching the movie Upgrade (2018) over on the 7Plus add-on from your Windows PC but then you decide to stop the movie at the 35 minute mark and later on during the day you want to finish watching Upgrade (2018) from the same Kodi 7Plus add-on and obviously you want to pick up where you left off and resume playback from the 35 minute timestamp, only instead of going back on your Windows PC to finish the movie you want to continue watching the movie on your Tablet. I really prefer to watch on-demand content from the Kodi add-ons of these services instead of the regular app versions because watching them via the Kodi add-ons blocks all adds. The video add-ons that I want to have playback sync on all my hardware are: SBS On Demand, ABC iView, 7Plus, 9Now, 10Play, Kayo Sports and Samsung TV Plus. Those of you outside of Australia will probably not have heard of most of these video add-on services but I can assure you they are perfectly legit. I download the Emby Server because I have heard that it's one of the only ways to sync playback between devices when using Kodi.
#Kodi syncplay android
Yesterday I downloaded the Emby Server along with the Kodi companion, TrakT, and Auto BoxSets plugins on my Windows PC and I have Kodi installed on my Windows PC and I have Kodi on my Android Smartphone and on my Android Tablet as well. Apologizes if this is the wrong section but it's a bit of a complex issue so its hard to know which forum this belongs in and I am very new to this.
